    San Jac disabled blind question

What's up all. Quick question here. My dad finally got drawn for a disabled blind at the Jac. First time. Does anyone know how many hunters can hunt the blind? Are 3 hunters allowed? If so, is there enough room for 3 shooters? Thanks in advance Ron

    Dogs and Mosquitos

Ok, I haven't had really any mosquito issues this season but last season I did and I remembered that I was using this stuff I had bought that worked well. It's for mosquitoes, ticks, flies and others bugs. Since I'm not hunting this weekend I decided to go through my crap and found it, here is...

    Dogs and Mosquitos

Mosquitoes still an issue? I might spray my dog a bit when I spray myself. I avoid spraying her face. Big concern for me is heartworm which dogs can get from mosquitoes (which Wister has a lot of) so my dog has been on Trifexis since she was a pup. No fleas, ticks and heartworm prevention...

San Jacinto - best blind to take non hunting female for first time hunt?

I don't ever shoot 3 1/2" for ducks. Not necessary IMO.

    Ammo Stashers

I believe this term came from finger blister/cuts from the trigger probably from recoil. I believe the majority are shooting 3.5" and probably holding finger low on the trigger. I never experienced this from mine. But I don't shoot 3.5"....

Any Advise for Sons first Duck Hunt This Weekend - Los Banos

I've never loaded up with 3 1/2" #2s and blasted away at ducks until my barrel is hot enough to fry bacon. Terrible advise IMO. Novice hunters should be taught responsible hunting and ethics. Refuges only allow 25 shells per hunter. Good luck on frying bacon on 25 shells. 3" shells...

Any Advise for Sons first Duck Hunt This Weekend - Los Banos

Don't know anything about Los Banos blinds but going on Saturday sounds like a great plan to get yourself familiar with the refuge. Good luck and post up some pics!

    Mud seat option

You could just go old school and make one out of a 2"X4".... I've tried a lot over the years and found that this one is very comfortable. I got them on sale a few years ago. They are quite expensive now.

    Panel blind thoughts

Any of you guys use these? Where do you use at? Do you brush them up? Opinions from you guys that have experience with these. They are pricey IMO.
