WOW, last night and this morning were 2 of the best hunting experiences I've ever had. Last night it was all quiet until 10 minutes before sundown. I let out a few bugles, and in minutes I was surrounded by 5 screaming bulls. Had 2 cows and a spike in shooting range, but held out for a bull...

It was quiet this morning. Was sitting for a while and had 2 cows and 2 calves step out about 120 yards away. I just watched them as they walked away, didn't really care to go after a cow with a calf.

Hunted last night and only heard a far off bugle. Saw 3 cows this morning, my tag is either sex, but I'm still holding for a bull. This afternoon I was sitting water and decided to try a bugle. I get a response and a bull comes my way. He had to have got in pretty close, I heard branches...

They shoot super accurate. I have a Christiansen Arms Mesa AZ nd get groups of 3 that usually are touching at 100 yards. Haven't taken anything with it yet, I would just stick with the 338 RUM, but I dont have any copper for it.

    Elk Jerky and Meat Sticks

Love the Pit Boss, super easy to use. Barbary came out really tough even though i went low and slow with bacon and foil wrap. Meat sticks were a hit at work today.

    Elk Jerky and Meat Sticks

Cabelas peppered jerky marinade, some sliced leg and some ground turned into my first attempt at sticks. Smoked on the Pit Boss for 4 hours, loved both. Barbary shoulder on the long smoke.
