    Just a bbq rub applied then let them sit in fridge overnight. I do the sweet baby Ray's on store bought ribs, but wanted to taste more of the flavor of the meat.

    A co worker gave me some wild boar ribs. 5 hours on smoker and it was game on. The fat was crispy and the meat was tender and smokey. Definately a favorite!

    I put in for Elk, Deer, Antelope, Ibex, Oryx, Barbary. Look at the draw results and see a green successful on my Ibex ! Click on it and see it is for female/ immature. A bit let down because I thought I put in for ram hunts only, but at least I get to plan a new trip and have been wanting to...

    How did I miss this? Larry is the most paranoid/prepared dude out there, depending on how u look at it. I remember his previous post about bobcat attack defense, moved up to bigger attackers!

    Took a roast cut from a leg, trimmed off silver skin and connective tissue, coated in olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, bbq rub, placed a piece of bacon on top. Smoked for 3 hours to 140 degrees internal and loved it. Only change I would do is a few degrees less for a mid rare center.250 degrees

    So a combination of arrival of baby #1 born this year and started a new position at work in September, my waterfowl season was cut back, only got out 3 times, but also snuck in an antelope and elk hunt in. Leaving today to hunt Barbary in NM!
