What kind of animal is this?

I'd love to hear your Chupacabra stories sometime fellas! :skull: That boxer skull looks very similar but I'm starting to suspect it is from an English Bulldog... What are the odds that I'd find two of those in very different locations.

What kind of animal is this?

I was out hiking with my kids a couple of months ago and we saw this skull attached to the backbone. At first I thought that it was someones dog (maybe a Pug or Bulldog) that was taken by a Coyote...we just left it where it was and did not think much of it. This past Sunday I was out with a...

    Zip tie scope lever

Like I said...mine is not as sexy as the real piece but it is waaaaaay cheaper. Not that $10 will break the bank but the zip tie works fine...It was done just to see if it works. My scope is not hard to change the magnification but i wanted to see how much easier would it be with the extra...

This little pig went night night.

I kind of forgot to post this... Last year I scheduled a pig hunt for the beginning of January 2020. The hunt was scheduled to be a saturday and sunday hunt. I told the guide that I would drive up on friday and he said that If I could get there around 4:30/5PM that we could go on an a early...

Tips for after the deer is down and quartered

Im a new hunter as well and harvested my first deer last season. After shooting it, I skinned it, quartered, put it in my pack inside pillowcases and trash bags...trash bags are not recommended because it does not let the meat cool properly (i believe). My hike to the truck was VERY short and...

    Zip tie scope lever

Well, I will admit. I'm cheap...frugal, whatever you want to call me it's ok with me. The truth is that I do not like to spend money if I do not have to, and, I like DIY stuff. As I'm researching and saving money for a new scope, I learned about these handy little levers to help you switch...

    Uh oh

THAT, is the true unfortunate fact...we will have to wait for something really bad to happen before population control gets (hopefully) implemented/allowed.

Thanks for the reply...At least it seems faster than a regular bolt and if you want to turn into a semi auto is a simple swap.

    Uh oh

Quote from the article... "" “Seeing a mountain lion is rare and an encounter like this is very unusual. Visitors to parks and open space should remain vigilant when outdoors in mountain lion territory,” it said."" It seems like it is not such a rare occurrence anymore...

Nothing fancy...something cheap to beat around....5.56 Anderson lower, mag pull stock, handle and MBUS sights with a PSA complete upper. For now Im using my deer rifle scope and a cheap red dot. I have another lower that I want to eventually build another riffle and I'm thinking about a 6.5...

    First of many...

I added a cheap red/green dot at a 45 degree angle that hopefully will help with the close range shots, I am saving for a scope that has 1-6 or 1-8 power...looking at the Primary Arms with the predator reticle. Meanwhile Im working my shooting from a stick, off hand and in awkward positions...
