The day after Christmas they did the sweatline sign up 2:30-3 and it worked out but there was less than 30 people on the sweatline that day. On a normal Saturday with 60-70 people on the sweatline I don’t see that working out too well
We tried to get a few ID tags at noon the day they went on sale and pretty much everything was sold out. I’m guessing this year if going to be similar to last year. I hope I’m wrong
I’d say your spread looks fine. Sundays can be tough. Saturday was pretty slow and sundays are usually way slower than Saturdays. Give it a few weeks and the hunting should pick up. Also that field the geese were in is off limits to hunting. That’s why the geese end up there on every shoot day
I’ve hunted mature birds that literally won’t fly because they know it makes them shootable. I’ve sprinted after quail that are running from me for 30 plus yards. Once you realize they aren’t going to fly just ground pound em. Any opportunity I have to shoot ‘em I do. If I hunted with a dog...
Hottingers wouldn’t do my pig a few weeks before thanksgiving last year because they were too busy. Leon’s custom meat cutting in jurupa valley did it for a good price. They do a lot wild game and did a good job
Originally when they talked about the 365 day license they said the price would go up. I don’t remember how much but I remember hearing almost $70. As if $50 wasn’t enough already
Haven’t watched it yet but I wouldn’t be surprised. The podcast has also gone downhill in my opinion. Still some good episodes here and there but not what it used to be. I think they got super popular and are in it for the money now. Guess I really can’t blame them
Personally I think social media is ruining everything. I used to be big on Instagram and Facebook but I stopped posting on them and now use them way less often than I used to. I hunt and fish as much as I can because that’s what I love to do. I can care less what other people think of something...
Hunting isn’t about the experience or bringing home delicious meat. It’s 100% about wearing dope camo and some fancy face paint (that took you hours to put on) while you pose for an Instagram picture
