I haven’t been to McCain in years but I would see quail all day there when I was deer hunting. Id imagine it still holds plenty of quail. Lots of dead cactus though so I wouldnt take a dog.

I have a chest freezer....... like it better than an upright but the down fall is it gets used as a table ( random stuff ) by the wife and can be a pain when I need to get in there.

I personally have never used radios ( cell phone usually works ) but this year im gonna take a few young teens out and they dont even know how much hiking their in for yet lol Dont want to totally ruin the experience for them so I think Giving them the radios will take their minds off the work...
