The boys are all tagged out on deer. They put the 4th one down yesterday evening. Another stud buck. Not as wide as the others but heavy. Now they’re after elk. They have 2 elk tags.

He asked that I not say what unit.

All the bucks have been killed on public but It’s landlocked and they have permission to access it.

Here’s an update on buddies in CO and there hunt so far. They’ve hunted hard and so far they have 3 monsters down. 1 to go. They put a nice 30 incher on the ground today.

Definitely would kill that buck. One of the widest San Diego bucks I’ve seen. I’m guessing around 23” wide. Kicker is that we hunted mcc that morning and that wide forky was chasing a doe right next to public.

I hunt MCC, public, private, just about anywhere I can hunt deer haha. The hunt is just as tough or tougher on many of the mcc spots (The mcc spots that have a lot of deer get hunted hard every day). A couple off MCC including a 4x3 and last I heard they were tracking a 3x. Does, spikes, and 30 second glance at a good buck for me. I’ll check back in tomorrow. Good luck out there guys!
