Thanks all. It really was my last opportunity to fill my D16. Had to work Sunday morning and told my wife I would spend some time with her since we didnt have the kids this weekend.

Ive shot this far before but never at a deer. After the shot I was sure he was down. I didnt see him run off and the doe stood around...

He didnt ask about sitting in an unused stand . He asked about hunting near someone's stand. Two different subjects. I also have seen many stands around and will hunt near them if not occupied when I got there. I would however not hunt out of someone else stand as they put in the time and work...

Just my opinion but adding scent would be the worst thing to do. Scent killers help but wont eliminate all scent. Play the wind to your advantage. There are Mule Deer scents available but I havent used them for a few years and didnt have any success with them. Edit....I do rub my hands and hat...

Private boat or cattle boat? Just wondering cause if its cattle boat you can call and ask them and see what they suggest. Gear needed will depend on size of Tuna targeted. Yellowtail.... 20 and 30lb outifts should be ok. Good luck, you should have fun .....lots of fish out there.

I like that dead-on sight. Just wondering where to place that belly pin. Our Mule Deer are smaller on average. Would it be more in the 17" range like a Whitetail Deer or 20" range for Mule Deer? Have to play with it to get it right for sure.

Chris, That sucks. Its in there over a year and now two weeks into the season someone has to go and mess with it. Was this guy up there around the same time youve been there? At least your camera got pics. I would post em up....If someone has the nerve to steal someone else's property its fair...
