Unfortunately I am to far from Fine Firearms but stopped by my local shop and took me 20 minutes to buy a decoy carring bag. There had to of been 10-12 people filling out apps for a gun.

politics, however dicks and Wal-Mart have not carried guns in CA for years. Don't be to offended. Besides always better to support your local gun shop that employs local employees and keeps the revenue local (Like Fine Fire Arms of La Mesa).

Alhersh, I am in southwest Riverside county. I am about an hour to an hour and a half from LA. I hunt all over around here. Have you completed your hunters safety course and gotten you license yet? If not that would NEED to be the first step.

Gonna go hit the sweatline/refill on Wed. 12-19 if anyone wants to catch up. Unless someone wants to hit Henshaw or something that way.

Wecome aboard Travis. Same that everyone else said on the hunters saftey course but I'd also add buy yourself a CNF quadrangle and contact BLM and buy a couple BLM maps so you can have some ideas where to start. Then cross that with google earth and do some hiking. It may help fill the void...
