Be prepared to be competing with lots of hunters. This year it never slowed down, in years past it would've slow after opening weekend. But not this year.
Fantastic write up. I got the feeling of relief when you dad broke radio silence. Damn I was there with man. Again fantastic job and congrats to all of you.
So do I. I don't really like the toy white look myself. I like when they look like they've been dug up by an archeologist. That prehistoric look is rad.
If you want to learn more about glassing you should listen to the jayscott podcast. He has guest on there that are super tuned in when it comes to glassing for game here in the West. Everything from course deer to elk. I like Cody Nelson (I think that his Name) from the Outdoorsmans in Phoenix...
Well said ghost. It's all about how you go about it. That's why I was getting really frustrated with bow hunting. I'm having to learn another technique the requires experience. Can't learn it from someone telling you how to do it. Even though it helps when someone is willing to give up some...
Well I might be willing to part with mine. I have a vortex diamondback spotter. It's good for a starter scope. I picked that one over the viper just cause of the weight. Viper HD is freaking heavy. I strictly use vortex optics, love them. And honestly, I depoly my tripod system pretty quick. It's...
I would get a tripod it would be 100 times more steady. With quick detaching plates. It would allow you to switch quickly between optics. I use a spotter also and carry it during scouting and hunting season. Makes for a better glassing experience when nothing is shaking. I know some guys don't...
Don't underestimate people. I hunt D15, I usually park my truck far from my good spots and hike in. Just ask revo on here. People find out and the don't care they will get to your spot and hike in all the way just to turn around at 10am and go back to the trucks for lunch. I've been hunting d15...
Really? I love the one I got. I was shooting rats with it in the backyard. Deadly inside 25 yards the way I had it sighted in. I did hit a squirrel at about 45 yards but never recovered it.
Don't know if you were holding it like a traditional rifle, cause that will make a difference. Military...
My 25 marauder is quiet. I shoot it in my backyard and I live in town. It's just a bit louder than my trail. My dad has a nitro venom and that thing is super loud compared to my marauder.
No it came that way. I think all the trail np's come with the rails to mount scopes. But it is a really nice airrifle. I've had a blast with it. But I stepped up and got a marauder in .25 cal and that thing is awesome. I was out shooting today at 125 and connecting.
