It is against the law and you are guilty if you hunt within 400 yrds. If it was me I would catch the guy and tell him to move out or get busted. But if you do call it in then you better do it soon and take the warden to it before the hunting gets good. Because they will want to set the guy up...
If I understand you correctly,Seems to me if its an easement through public land then you can walk next to the road or easement boundary. Why would you need the road to get in?
Only way to know is to practice in the wind. Sunday was really good. The low pressure cooled it down and had the deer feeling good. I had deer under me all day. and at one point I called in three toms and had them struttin under me for 10 min.
If you knew how many were in that area alone you probably would not go out. Just remember, they are not interested in you. They are there for the same thing you are.
I know exactly where that is. I could drive down the hill and turn left on the dirt road and drive in along the barbed wire fence and park and walk about 300 yards up to your camera and wave to you. I even have a key for the gate up at the top of the paved road. That use to be y buddies families...
I know that spot. My buddy sat behind that bush to the right on your pic and killed a nice buck as it hopped the fence behind your cam back when it was legal to hunt there. Now its San Diego City property so be careful.
