It was actually big foot walking upside down below the surface, that explains the weird foot print. Everyone knows they spend most of their time under ground. That explains why they are seldom seen.
Steve,, my friend just got back from a unicorn (spike Elk) hunt in north central NM , they naver saw any sign, heard any bugles, nor did they see any Elk of any kind, but they did see a massive amount of turkey.
Great Elk and write up. I'm certain your daughter was excited to have you there for her birthday, that's what really matters. All my Elk have been with the use of guides. I know Hatch hates guides, but I'm sure he will give you a big job well done when he see your trophy bull. Lots of great eating.
