    Amazing Wildlife Pix!

People think shooting a coyote is cruel. You think they've ever seen coyotes eat a lamb or a fawn alive? That is an awesome website.

    Hitting your target.

Looked around online a bit and looks doubtful, as NBK said today. Guess there always my Howa '06...

    Hitting your target.

Awesome, thanks. I get the practice under stress. It's one thing to stand there and shoot groups with a pistol and entirely another to do it against the clock on moving targets whilst having to move and reload. Y'all think my 16" tapered pencil barrel M77 will dish out the accuracy?

    Hitting your target.

I want to be able to poke holes in coyotes at a known 440 yards. Current limit is 200ish with my 223 Savage and the cheap scope that came on it. Lots of parallax at 200 plus. Probably will go to my 16" .260, need to get a scope for it, how would you guys go about ranging and targeting? Zero...

    Foxpro Wildfire report

I don't think effective baiting is as easy as one would think. Gotta drive out there put bait out regularly, put out cameras so you know when they're coming. In cold winter places where they can make baitsicles, it's probably easier. I imagine using smell in conjunction with calling and sight...

FREE Young English Pointer Needs Home

Re: Young English Pointer Needs Home Uh...I must be too tired cuz I don't get it. I was thinking poodle cuz they don't shed...if you cut their hair normal, they look like a normal dog and make good hunting dogs I read. Wonder about hunting yotes with them...

    Foxpro Wildfire report

I have always thought that baiting in sitting in a blind like they do in Texas is cheating but when you got coyotes giving you problems it's kind a like whatever is legal I think.

FREE Young English Pointer Needs Home

Re: Young English Pointer Needs Home Great dogs, my grandpa always had them for hunting pheasants. I've thought about getting a dog but my family and I are allergic to them. Maybe a standard poodle someday. Best of luck with the sale!

Long version of yesterday's coyote hunt/kill.

Thanks. I was gonna give it a rest, but a little bird just told me about another coyote problem...

    Handgun peepers

Exactly. That's how I got started hunting coyotes, I would go shoot pest squirrels and my shooting spot and then started seeing and hearing coyotes. I remember the first one popped up 100yds away, probably heard me shooting and came looking for dinner, but I couldn't shoot him 'cuz there was a...

Terrain and general questions for rabbit hunting

Stop and watch a clearing for a bit, if you don't see anything, give a little whistle to get them to perk up their little pink ears.

Terrain and general questions for rabbit hunting

They live in the bushes and eat in the clearings...transitional areas is where to catch them. Go slow and spend time just looking and waiting and letting the surroundings "sink in".

What 22LR ammo is best for Rabbit

Yeah, I don't have anything earth shattering, just drive a vehicle with good AC and freeze yourself coming in, park in the shade, rest a bit in shade as you go, and keep cold water on you. Spray bottle works good. Wear loose, light weight, light colored, breathable clothing. Be out before...

    Foxpro Wildfire report

As I'm sure you've noticed from my posts, I've been working hard at learning to hunt yotes this summer, and in my experience, they pretty much won't come to a call...try sneaking in closer and getting them to just stick their head out. Hate that shifty breeze. Always changes at sunrise and...
