Do we really need the latest and greatest gear?

Hey, some of the best entertainment is the guys with all the $$$$ gear that don't put out the effort and therefore still can't get it done.

Long version of yesterday's coyote hunt/kill.

Yeah, but now that I've had some success, I'll probably back it off a little. I can't quit until I have some success at something. I've been hitting it hard and neglecting other stuff, burning lots of gas, plus my family will be back in town soon.

    Handgun Rabbits

I'm free evenings and weekends. Farmers would love less rabbits. Anywhere there is a field with bordering bushes there will be a bunch sunrise and sunset. Very few people hunt them, but lots of people shoot them if they see them, I see them dead and left even out of season, because it's too hot...

Long version of yesterday's coyote hunt/kill.

I'm typing this up, because it was by far my most fun, hardest worked for, rewarding one yet. Stalking and putting the sneak on them is a blast! I like hunting jacks the same way. It was cloudy and not too hot yesterday, so I spent most of the day practicing shooting the Savage .223. On the...

Getting smrt, "trained", tough to call summer yotes.

Sorry MJB, can't comment on that light. I think I'm gonna try the new Wicked light when it comes out. I'm starting to learn some things about summer or tough yote hunting, some of which have already been posted. Re: distance...on the last coyote I got(yesterday), I had an idea where he might...

    Misc '14 Spring/Summer hunting/outdoors pics

I like takin' pics...hope y'all enjoy. Dead mole just laying there by Cuyamaca. Tactikool Kowboy huntin' holster. I wanted something that wouldn't rub the blue off my sights, absorb moisture, and would retain without a strap to fiddle with. Gunner's Custom Holsters in Yuma built me this...

    Hitting your target.

Seems there's lots of threads about hunting...how about one on shooting and hitting what you're hunting? I'll post up some of what I've been learning. Too many postings going on at once. I'd be out hunting coyotes this evening but...I've worn myself out!

    Handgun peepers

Not yet but I'm posting in general discussion, have it up in a few minutes, and then you'll see what it's gonna get.

    Handgun peepers

That's just recent...or before I got the yote bug. I have killed a mess of those little suckers, can't seem to slow down the population.

    2014 Predator Comp/Obits by "Handgun"

Re: 2014 Predator "Handgun" Here's the two pups I got a while back. I stumbled on them running through brush while scouting and got them offhand when they hit an opening about 50yds away. I didn't realize they were pups looking through the 3x magnification of the scope. Not very sporting to...

Sometimes they don't know they're dead.

Well said BWE. Some things are to laugh about...some are wrong.

Maybe making the forum viewable by members only would be a good idea...?

Sometimes they don't know they're dead.

Sorry...I was just impressed at the little guys spunk if you will, and found it interesting how sometimes you can hit them good and they still don't stay put. I suppose the thread could be removed, it's not exactly a winner I reckon.
