    Different size and species of rattlesnake will strike with an slightly different amount of force. I was always told if you don't think your boots would stop a dropped hypodermic needle then don't rely on them to stop fangs. YMMV

    If you don't reload, go to your local ammo stores and check the shelf for ease of finding the lead free caliber of your choice as a factor in your decision making as well.

    I have a Sako chambered in 7mm Rem mag. It is an amazing rifle. From the bolt being extremely smooth like its riding on ball bearings to the super crisp adjustable trigger. I've used it on California deer and Utah big body deer with the same results "dead deer". It's very accurate but most off...
