After years of staying at the Barbara Worth (and enduring their pigeon shoots on the golf course) I started staying at the Best Western off 4th Ave right next to the IHOP and In-N-Out. Service is great, rooms are clean, and there's a pool for the kiddos.
Strange one for sure Kevin, but the cats are a nice silver lining on the day. Now that I think of it, I hardly saw any quail while dove hunting last month. I didn't check my quail spots, but usually I see or hear some in my dove spots but didn't this year.
Hope to see fans in the stands with a rally goose cap. For those that know The Captain down at the sea, his goose helmet would've been great, sprayed with Padre brown and gold!
Looks awesome Drew. Likewise, I don't know why there aren't any blaze orange ones. Good thing to have when packing out a deer in the trigger happy D16 or elsewhere.
Hate that. I had a cam soaking for awhile in one of my favorite spots and was excited to get out to it. Even took off work to hike and get it, only to find the SD card gone. Losers.
I made some years ago.. buried em in Borax for a few weeks then set them in a shotshell with epoxy similar to a turkey beard. Then my wife threw em out saying they were creepy lol
