OK, here's the target for the 62-grain TSX using 25.0 grains of Varget...just over 3/4" group at 100 yards. Not quite as good as the 50-grain VG group, but acceptable.

Rocky snake boots. Lightweight, comfortable and waterproof. Where we hunt, I wouldn't be without a pair.

In the meantime, here's the latest 100-yard target using 23.4 grains of H335 and the Barnes 50-grain Varmint Grenade.

We were deer hunting when this bad boy walked out at 96 yards. Spine shot put him right in the dirt.

The reason I went with the TSX is because of the boat-tail design...better B.C. I'll go with a FB design if I have to, but prefer a BT.

I tried to work up a load for the 62-grain Barnes TSX BT in my AR using H335 but it wouldn't pattern. It seems that H335 works better for the lighter bullets. Barnes suggests Varget or Reloder 15 for the 62. Anyone had any luck with something else? Suggestions? Thanks

One of our club members (active duty USMC) was up deer hunting on Pendleton this past weekend when a coyote walked out into the open and got whacked! There are a lot of dogs up there.

Got to the range yesterday. 100 grains of BH209 gave a 1 1/8" group. Good loading bullet that shoots well.

The .502 was the correct size. Now to order some and see how they pattern.
