I read about this proposal on the TRCP site. They reported it involved opening the area up to fishing. No mention of hunting.

Come on , just because there are good flights of widgeon in the area doesn't equate to lanyards of dead widgeon showing up at the check station. I cant think of another person who would know the day to day movements of waterfowl better than MP

I agree with you about the receding sea, my issue with Wister is the deplorable condition it has fallen into. There are so many previously good sites from years ago that are not huntable today. Nowadays, I find myself driving to Wister and instead heading a little further east and enjoying days...
I know the campground is still a muddy mess. I was shoveling mud out from around the decoy trailer in an attempt to move it when is saw the snowcat tow rig being hauled down Davis rd. Somebody had a costly experience
