Well, my last day at San Jac was going to be a total bust. Never saw a bird at first shooting light. The season was officially over for me, so I pulled all my decoys and packed em up. This was going down as the worst day ever in all my worst days hunting & then this happened…..

That is awesome. My favorite memories are taking my son there as a youngster. He's 28 now and we still go together. They grow up fast. He's getting married in April but we still plan to hunt ducks, deer and turkey together. Hopefully, you will have many years in the blind with your son as well...

So hunted Wister Saturday. Only saw one duck marginally shootable in my blind. Never seen so little action. Hope we get a migration this year. Hunted U12-2.
