Update: inaugural range trip today and the hype is real. My only minor “complaint” is I’m spoiled by external mags so the old school internal loading is inconvenient. Of course reloading is moot when the first shot is deadly.
I also put a message in a bottle and tossed into the ocean, we’ll see which is most successful. (For AZ pronghorn) I personally know 2 residents with 28 & 30 points who have never drawn pronghorn.
Man the new year brought even more strictness around this. Talon grips, springs, guide rods, virtually anything ordered online is requiring attestation and photo ID. Not to mention effectively 21% tax on actual hardware and ammo. Just imagine if some of these commies actually get national office.
The break in big game seasons (at least where I hunt/had tags) has me rifle shopping. Bergara Timber with the wood Monte Carlo stock is catching my eye, anybody own one? I won’t mention caliber as to keep focus on the gun question but will say I’m not looking at magnums lol. Really hard to find...
