I live in Calexico and still see a lot of doves from the I-8 south (my road trips to and from work) and for that reason I will be going out hunting again early Sunday in Mexicali :)

Been hunting in the IV mostly Calexico, Heber & Holtville for the past 4 years and been lucky to limit out but this year I'm heading down south with my buddies who have been going for the past 10 years. They always bag a ton of birds and the season starts 8/21 I believe and runs thru 2/15/2016...

Re: 34 More days until the 2014 Dove season Went out scouting for some new spots yesterday. Thought id run into some rain with the thunder but nope. Weather went down to as low as 90* so even got to shoot some clays.
