    It raises the old question of whether the presence of so many predators is good, because it means the prey population is very healthy, or bad because it means the predators are eating all the game. In a prefect world I like seeing lots of both. More targets to shoot at.

    Sounds like you’re fully involved in the sport already but if you like chasing smaller critters too check out the Imperial Valley. The annual sept 1 dove opener is coming up, plus quail, rabbit, ducks, varmints in abundance.

    Fake news. Plenty of dove if you mean the Imperial Valley. Specifically “at the Salton Sea” I can’t say. Go down and scout around the day before opener and you should find birds.
