Looking forward to the fast approaching season, I'm sure we'll see an increase in activity here as the season nears!! Again welcome...

    Non Lead Recommendations

I'd recommend the Hornady GMX's, I am shooting the 140gr in a Savage 116 7mm Rem Mag with pretty decent results. It'll hold just under an MOA.

Entertaining the idea of raffling off hunting related gear etc.

I am one of the new guys and agree with the comments above, it appears the large majority of activity is from a select few. Not insinuating this is a bad thing by any means. I'm also not on any other media's

Unfortunately it's not likely I'll make it back in time for the archery season, at best I'll get back at the tail end of the season just in time to get out for a couple days of scouting with the bow in hand prior to the general season opener.

    San Gorgonio Wliderness BEARS????

Good day all!! Trying to find info in regards to the bear population in and around San G. I will be hunting deer there during the firearm season and wonder if I should pick up a bear tag as well. The price isn't to bad and I could grab one pretty easily, just figured it'd be best to get a little...

    New to the West

If all works out I'll go in just prior to the opener and stay deep for 4 to 5 days. It's still quite a ways out, and I'm currently out of the country lol but dang I am pumped up and ready to get in there!

    New to the West

Not sure why D14 is popular, I've choose to hunt D14 due to its proximity to my location (29 Palms). I'm keep my fingers crossed that pushing past the average hunter will increase my odds at success. I just have to figure out how far the average hunter is willing to go lol..

    New to the West

My plan is to hike in about 6 miles the day prior to the opener, hopefully glass from elev and find something to move on opening morning. This location will be at roughly 6000ft. My fear is that other hunters will likely do something similar, if this is the case I plan to gain elev in an effort...

    New to the West

Thank ya Sir.. Believe me I have looked at every possible angle with google earth 3D lol, its an awesome tool no doubt! Also lean heavily on HuntStand, just got into OnX today and was surprised to find trails listed that I haven't seen anywhere else. Regardless I'm excited just to get out this...
