All the pups are gone! Started pickups today. It’s actually been a lot harder to see them go but they have some great new families.

First shots were done today and they will be ready to go home this weekend. You could have this pup out in the field by next season........

That was Boomer, he unfortunately passed away at 4. I picked up Bella from Raney a couple months later. She’s a hunting machine.

Pretty much every blind but ours got their pintail limit. We were high blind with 3 wigeon, hen pin, 2 gwt and a beauty of a bwt. Should have had our pintail limit too but we missed every chance we had at drakes.

My coldest hunt was -12 in Montana. We only made it 2 hrs. Ducks were practically frozen solid as was the dog.....

Took my daughter down to the club near Wister last Saturday. Good to see the birds finally starting to show up and we got a bonus honker.

Damn Steve, stop rubbing it in......lol I've had 4 trips to our club and blanked on the last 3. I shot 4 ducks on opening day and that's been it. It's the most discouraging season I've ever had waterfowling.

wow, 13 is down. Last time I was there it was 18 and that was down from 20. I do remember the chip lotto every morning. It could make or break your hunt.

How many blinds does Barrett have open? I used to hunt it a lot years ago and stopped due to the last couple of years with low water.
