    Wister days numbered…?

Lithium Crash Deepens With Battery Metal Now Down 78% From Peak Headline from article about the price of lithium. Sites slowing adoption of lithium vehicles. I wonder if brine extraction is profitable at these new prices.

    Any pheasant recommendations for Mexico?

To answer the questions we were put with other people into one group. Each hunter had two bird boys to flush and find birds. Enjoyed that for sure. I think you can bring your dog but check with outfitter. Guns were ok but had some minor issues. Hunted cotton and millet fields. As mentioned the...

    Any pheasant recommendations for Mexico?

Huntersonly.mx is who I used. I've spent maybe 15 days in the field in South Dakota and way preferred Mexicali. Close, cheaper, and mostly the birds are uneducated.

    Wister days numbered…?

Best laid plans. We will see. Who's going to work at that plant? Where are the going to live? The mud and sink holes in that area are brutal. The weather crazy hot. Time will tell.

Volunteer Workdays / Blind Brush Up Days Set for San Jacinto Wildlife Area, Saturday, July 22nd, and Saturday, August 19th.

I was out of town so couldn't make the clean up. I was wondering what was done in the way of Mystic lake blinds? Was any time spent working on these?

Salton Sea Litium on CBS 60 min

From the presentation we can assume a new plant at the mud pots and the Australian guys look to be moving a bit north to noffsinger road. That's what hard growth facts I could get from the show. My understanding is they are already bringing in cheap labor, niland to expand a lot and up to 5...

    Wister Dirt Work

As with many clubs, they should make a small dike or path to the blind. If not then at least put some gravel for a stable path. I really enjoyed shooting downward at ducks from the levees. That looks to be coming to an end.

    Open clubs

Heard same thing, offers to big to refuse but the land has to stay habitat. One wonders if liability will eventually make acquired land just sanctuary with no hunting. The acre they are taking, from what I understand, will be from Wister. They are supposed to be moving north on Davis. Few years...

    Newsome on Alcott road-

It's not good from the rumors I'm hearing. Actually it might be spectacular for some club owners. 200 homes in niland, mitigation for loss of habitat and we need to remember who owns wister, IID, who has its own interests that may or may not align with the refuge. It's never good when newsome...

    Newsome on Alcott road-

This cant be good. My understanding is big big changes coming to the imperial valley with as many as 5 super lithium plants planned and some mitigation moneys are being talked about.

CWA working on W11 and Y15

Islands are great, its the mud to get to them and back out thats brutal. In a hard bottom world, like most of nor cal, islands are preferred.
