I’ve read before that if you get breaks in the rain, the turkeys like to get out and take advantage of it, sunning and eating bugs. I don’t know if this is the right kind of storm though. May not have breaks.

I picked up one of the Apache 9800 rifle cases from harbor freight while they were on special. Seems sturdy enough for the price. Any thoughts on how to configure the rifle in there? How do you guys with similarly sized cases set them up?

Are we talking 7mm mag or something sexy like 7x57?

I’m pretty sure that’s a puma. The tip of the tail can be seen by the hind paw if you look closely at the photo. And as Steve pointed out, no spots. Plus the fur is smooth and short.

It’s difficult to make out but you can just see the end of the tail sticking out by the hind paw of the cat in the OP. I’d say it’s definitely a puma.

270 win seems made for copper. 6.8 isn’t too different from 6.5 performance wise.
