    Mountain high is Private and they will prosecute you for trespass, but above and farther down the 2hwy there are areas and defunct camp sites that were promising. just make sure you have a good to great 4X4 the roads are not maintained and a little rain can change the roads and creek crossing...

    Larry (Larry) why you guys so hard on him ? The BOSS 30/06 has a Magna Port Muzzle brake so the recoil is no where near the BAR, Never had any issues with it on the BOSS.

    It will be after I get my Yukon out of the shop at least. that would make a good break in trip for that engine. Most likely February some time. I'll have the BAR outfitted with the Leupold and sighted in by then, still need to dig up some more non-lead 308
