I took this video while deer hunting last week. I only captured about 1/3 of the whole fight. Saw 2 coyotes working a herd of 4 does then they work on down the valley. 20 minutes later they came running back up being chased by a second pair of coyotes. I guess they were on someone else's...
We took off of work and school on Friday to glass the hills. Saw a big forky on the drive in but it was on private. Took some pics and kept driving. Got set up on a lookout hill top and started spotting does.

My brother and I took our 13 year old nephew out for his first deer hunt. The first afternoon he missed a big 3x3 at 300 yards. Too far for a beginner with buck fever. The next morning we glasses up a 2x2 and got into 178 yards and he made a great shot. I think he's hooked.

FYI a spike bull...

Thanks Bill. I just looked that up. Alfalfa too. I think I'll need to low fence the property to keep my neighbors cows out. They eat everything and brake our water pipes. They move the cows on and off our area at different times of the year. There are many very old oak trees from...
That's the long term plan. First we need to capture and store the water from our spring.
530 gallons every 24 hours. Pump and store it up hill so we can gravity feed it down to the future barley field and mud pit.
