That tripod was, definitely not a Tricer. I remember this buck following a doe up the ridge right to me. 30 yard shot with a 6.5x06IMP. Damn thing worked.- Lungpopper

Leftovers gone wild
Had some leftover elk meat loaf. Cooked it on the griddle with coconut oil and some sliced onion. Once the onion softened up, set the meatloaf on the onion and cover with cheese. (I used pepper jack) and cover to melt cheese. I used kinders burger sauce And serve.- Lungpopper

If you’re a 1 gun guy. There isn’t a better round than the 7 Rem mag. 140’s for deer, 160’s for elk. Easy to find ammo for. The 7PRC is interesting, but is designed for the heavy 160-195 grain bullets.- Lungpopper

30 Nosler with a 168 gr McGuire Copper Rose at about 3220. 100 yards shot, dead broad side. Went through both shoulders. Made a mess of the heart and ruined about 4” of lung. It ran about 80 or so yards. No blood trail. Tough to put down. Guide says they nearly always run.- Lungpopper
