1300 yard club

Well I made it today. A buddy of mine invited me to shoot today and I was sad I didn't have a rifle to shoot because mine is in preparation to bring to the gun smith for some stuff. He told me if I buy a box of 308 I can break in his new ruger precision rifle, okay!! Well after I broke it in we put that up a brought out the big guns. I shot the 338 Lapua and tagged the 1000 yard gong 3 times in a row.. A little later we set up on the 1300 yard gong, and after 2 missed shots (my bad) I hit the target, man I was stoked on that shot! My buddy's sons got their first 1000 yard hits (off the lead sled). Overall what an awesome day with some good friends.

For the 1300 yard I believe it was 25"x18" and the 1000 yard gong was 18"x18". I am in the process of building a 500, 800, 1000, and 1200 yard range with all 1 MOA size gongs at each distance, should be pretty cool when done.

It's slowly but surely coming along, hopefully by the shoot on March 19th I will have the 1 MOA gongs ready. We already have some 18"x18" gongs made so those are good to go for the shoot. I hope you can make it up, it's going to be fun!
