2014 NWTF JAKES Event at Escondido Game & Fish Saturday June 28th

Ladies and gents, here's a great opportunity to get your kids out for a fun filled day that costs little to nothing. If you have time to go please contact Steve Turigliatto ASAP to reserve a spot for your kids. The cost is free for children and only $5 for adults which includes food and drinks. Also attached is the registration and liability release form, please copy and have it filled out for the day of the event. This a great even for the kids to get out and learn about turkey biology, marksmanship, shotgun, black powder rifles, archery, and tomahawk throwing.

Time: 9AM to Noon on Saturday JUNE 28th.

Thanks for posting............I have about 15 spots still available (we're allowed 105)............Included in this years program is the raffle of youth .22 and a guided turkey hunt on private property. We also have some games.....Hit the bell in the bb gun or bulls eye in the archery and they win a Primos turkey hunting DVD.......We will also give a box call to each group at the turkey calling station (random draw).

Thank you to all the members of NWFT that set this great event up! My girls has a great time and I know that everyone else did as well.

Thank you.......I think a good time was had by all........Almost 200 folks involved........If anyone would like to get involved in these kind of events sponsored by the San Diego Chapter of NWTF. We have monthly meetings every 4th Tuesday at CoCo's in La Mesa (6:00 pm)......You can also check us out at sandiegoturkey.com.

Yes and great turnout!. I love seeing kids getting involved with the shooting sports...

It's amazing seeing the kids faces with the black powder guns go off........

Even more amazing is the responses from the parents. Many of which have never been around guns or a hunting scenario.......NWTF also offers a classroom education box to our local schools.......Very educational.......And again introduces them to the good that the hunting and outdoors community does for our wildlife.......My only regret is we can't get the word out to more adults and their children.
