Not an eventful trip this year. Dropped a small doe the first morning with my rifle. Everything else the rest of the trip was to small or out of shotgun range. The rut just ended so the bucks are nocturnal right now. At least I am coming home with some meat. We sat in the rain, sun, tree stands, climber stands, and on the ground. We put some work in for 5 straight days, just bad timing. I will say the 6.5 SAUM has plenty of horsepower. I shot my doe at 60 yards and had a 6" exit wound
