This is my
Brothers gun in Wyoming. Back story -
He ordered this gun the fall of 2016. After a 8 month wait, he finally received it around May of 2017. All excited, he got it set up and started practicing. He couldn’t get it to shoot better than 1.5” groups and it was all over the place. He didn’t get it figured out in time and ended up borrowing my gun for the 2017 hunting season.
He sent it back to Montana rifle company who went through it and told him that the issue was the rail he used to mount his scope. He then pulled them and installed Talley rings. It did shoot instantly better, he considers it a 1 moa gun (although he never put much time into it after this as he had already built a new gun.)
