A22 tag

Sorry a 3 inch max spike is legal. But that is consider a anterless deer. But like said before buck or doe. Forked horn or better. Once a friend shot what he thought was a doe turned out to be a 1 inch spike. Hard to see them with those mule deer ears.

Also use SCH as a TIP. But read the Ca. fish and Wildlife regulations. Until got everything straight.

Beat me to it, Lee.....It's so simple, but obviously a lot of the newer hunters are not doing it.....The regs can be confusing and you probably won't get any break, if you mess up some where.

Just a couple more things....Fill out tag immediately after you get your deer.....Have at least 2 ink pens with you.....Punch out date of kill.....And have it validated at the nearest available place that does it (this is something you should know before kill).
