In your opinion which is the best non scented Shampoo, Soap, & detergent on the market for hunters ?

Never gotten in that game because I never sit in a stand or blind while hunting animals I’m worried about winding me. I’m considering a tree stand for the first time this year so I’d be interested in other peoples thoughts as well.

Since you hunt stands I have a question, if you don’t mind... do you know the typical wind pattern where your stand is based on time of day? I ask because I’ve never used one but have an area I think I could. Wind seems pretty consistent based on time of day so I know I could sit it at certain times and not others.

Tree stand or not, you need to go to the spot very early in the morning with pen and paper. Start noting where the wind is coming from. Stay there for a few hours and note how the wind changes. Then do the same in the afternoon.
taking notes will hep you to learn wind patterns.
You will hear or read about “thermals” thats how the air moves according to temperatures changes.

The stands I have are in canyons facing west, typically mornigs in the early a22 season the wind is still untill the sun comes up and heats the canyon up and the thermals start to blow east and up the canyons

If hunting a deer stand with a bow two issues to consider.
Sun to your back , and the wind in your face. Where I hunted the wind could change in instant. So it was difficult to keep the wind in my face. But since in a stand one is up high it helps.
If hunting with a rifle key is to get high on a ridge and scan with binoculars.
And keep the wind in your face
I use baking soda on my wash it helps with preventing rashes. Laundry detergent and I don't get along.
And as an option. Use a wind detector product to keep tab of even the slightest wind direction. Don't cost much. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1008033994?pid=479268

Also deer can detect movement and addition to great sense of smell, have excellent hearing. If trying to stalk they can hear you a mile away. Get up high and don't move much. Keep quiet.
Last time I hunted. I did a stalk on two does w it the a bow. From approximately 100 yards away stuck out in an open field. With very little trees. I would wait for them to put their heads down and feed, and every time the wind blew and the birds chirp, I took a few steps. And would stay perfectly still. If they looked in my direction. I did this for two hours until I closed in to 40 yards. As long as I was very quiet and silent they did not detect me. An other hunter walked up and busted my stalk. Life in public land.
