Well, Fred Perry (perrytaxidermy.com) and I have been working to put this one together for quite some time. One of Fred's regular customers shot this brown bear and wanted to do a lifesize upright mount but due to the size of the bear we couldn't find any forms that were positioned to the customers desire. This started the time consuming alteration process to make the mount meet the customers request.

After lengthing the form, turning the head, and moving both arms we finally got the hide on the form

Once mounted I built the base for the mount. This base included a removable rock on the top (center) so the bear can be attached from the top of the base.

Finally we were able to put it all together and finish the mount.

I can honestly say that this mount has been the biggest pain in the butt that I have ever dealt with but hopefully the owner enjoys it.
