Montana Sheep, Moose, and Mountain Goat Reminder:
The Montana non-resident application form sent in the mail by Montana Fish and Game has a couple of errors. First, the commission decided to eliminate either sex Moose permits in most regions available to non-residents. These codes were -00 codes and are now -20. The -20 codes are valid for bull moose only. Also, for Mountain goats, unit 313, Crazy Mountains, is available to non-residents. It was originally accidentally omitted from the original non-resident list and isn't on the original form. These changes are updated when applying online or by printing their updated applications form.
