Well it was hot lol no movement. About 20 mins left in shooting time they started moving saw 3 dose and a spike. The spike may be a fork and horn but to small wont shoot him
I hunted Pendleton last night and other than an idiot doing donuts in a jeep below us we didn't see anything moving until late, it was 3 does that were crossing back into an area.
We tried a little dove at San Jac Saturday and the t-storms killed it. Only saw one bird within our area. After striking out we headed to Palomar Mountain off the 76 to hike around and scout for pigs. We didn't see anything. We ran in to several hunting parties, none of which had seen a thing. It was 79 at the top of the mountain and 99 at the base.
I have a huge blister and that will only slow me down ill be out all day on Wednesday. I need to put one down with an arrow. Do need to check a camera where the big boys live but I'm not going to push them. They have to slip up and I need to get lucky
Good luck you gotta get trail cam that texts the pics right to your phone so that deer wont get spooked it would be a lot easier than hiking out their in this heat
