Backcountry foods

I experimented with making dehydrated meals. They turned out, just OK. I think a freeze dryer would be the way to go.

For backpacking trips I like the Peak meals the best. Taste good, they use less
water and have more protein than the other meals I have compared them to.
Typically I split a breakfast granola in half for breakfast. Bars, peanut butter and honey for mid day. Then a Peak meal for dinner.
If camping near the truck. We are breaking out the BBQ and griddle and eating like kings.
