Bear Hunting

Anyone bear hunt? Where? I'd like to go (maybe next year).

Just got back from D8 Zone hunt had trail cameras up there since july there are some big black bears in that area

With bear hunting in CA, once I purchase a tag, can I hunt anywhere? The tag doesn't apply to just certain zones, does it?

Correct. you can hunt Bear in any zone that is open for deer during the General season. I Hunt D6 & D14 for Bear

I haven’t got any yet. Couple buddies have gotten a bear the past couple years in D6.
I find a couple every year in D14, but haven’t taken the shot for a few different reasons.
Last season I came across the biggest Bear I’ve ever seen in the wild. Just wrong time and wrong place.
