Bear Tags

Hey all, I'm interested in doing some bear hunting on big bear this year and was wondering, How hard is it to get a bear tag? And how much does it cost?

Its an over the counter tag. You just go anywhere that sells licenses and buy a tag. There is a quota of 1700 bears. The season closes when the quota is met or December 29th, whichever comes first. There is a counter on the DFG website that updates the current bear harvest. If you pull up the DFG website it will tell you the fees.
