Now that my wife will be getting her hunting license I decided to take her out for some trap for date night. It was so fun, we go out every Wednesday and she wants to go do trap again next week. This was her first time ever shooting a shotgun and she we 4 out of 25 and 3 out of 25. It was great to see how pissed she was that she missed so many. Date nights just got a lot more fun.

That's totally awsome. My wife I my best hunting partner and we love to get to the trap and sporting clays range. Keep it up you 2.

Tru,

Just kidding about the pix........Great you two are doing this together....... 8)

A lot of places have folks that will give lessons. Might be a good idea at 1st......Also, make sure her feet and body are weight forward......Leaning backwards will almost always having you shoot high......Here's a few tips:

Yes lessons are in the near future I have a few friends who are avid trap shooters that I am going to try and get out with her. Definitely needs to lean forward. But for her first time I am just stoked she wants to go back. I am going to go buy her a semi auto escort that she can share with my son. The 20ga she was shooting tonight is my old Remington sportsman 48 I swear the thing has to be 10 lbs. lol.

Well we went to shoot trap again and it was packed so I decided to have her shoot 100 yard rifle. She was pretty freaking impressive this is her first night shooting long rifle 100 yards, 14" barrel, no bi pod, with a fixed 3x32 scope, and military 55g ball ammo. I think we can count on her dropping some game. She pulls a little left but at 100 yards dang I am impressed with her. We are gonna go back in two weeks after she gets her new 20ga from FFA and shoot some trap.

I see this happen all the time at work. We have guys taking pictures of jobs all day and when they upload them, they are upside down. If you can always remember to have the "button" on your phone to the right or down when taking pictures or video, the perspective will remain correct. Your phone automatically rotates your pictures when you look at them on the phone but transfers them according to how they were taken. Or, you can just use a flip phone and good old fashion camera like Steve :)

As to the original subject, THAT'S FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!! Makes me want to toss the loader and a case of clay in the truck and head up to the mountain!

My wife is an awesome tracker. If we go for a hike, she rarely misses much sign as long as she knows what to look for. But she has no interest in hunting. Works out great ;)
