Yesterday they boated 2 BF for the entire day. Sometimes you just hit it right.

Truduct, is that the Mission Belle out of Point Loma? I'm going on the full day Coronado Islands trip this coming Saturday (7/18). Can't wait, as they seem to be hitting the BFT pretty good. I'm surprised and very happy to see that they're hitting them on just the full day trips. I'm taking three rigs with me. Torium20 on a Teramar with 60 lb braid to 40 lb mono and 25 lb flouro leader, Penn Battle on Daiwa rod with similar line set up (50-40-25) and then my big boy, Speedmaster 25 on Terez rated 160-200, with 100 lb braid to 50 flouro. Trying to be prepared in case we see cows or super cows (praying). Seriously, one cow or bigger, and I'd be done for the trip. I'd be wasted and I know I don't have the freezer space....unless they start getting into yellowtails!!!

Truduct, what color Colt Sniper were you using? Casting or dropping?

The colt snipers were green and blue both were natural colors similar to Mackeral or Sardines. I just drop them until I almost hit the braid then reel and jig repeat.
