After a couple of unsuccessful stalks on deer this morning I see a covey of quail.So I put a stalk on and take a 25 yard shot,cutting his neck. BIRD DOWN. " Finally filling my freezer bag with fresh meat"

Nice job LP, There are so many quail on the edges of the Lagunas this year.


I shot two Mountain Quail out of my tree stand last year and I really did not do that much damage so I wanted to get them taxd until I found out it was $165.00 a bird to mount, Dont need them in the collection that bad.
