Yup, especially the long range boats are coming in with the big ones. Up to 250#. Two of my friends are on the water right now. I should hear from them tonight, or tomorrow. WSB are also picking up.
Priceless is right. He’s moving to Georgia next month. Chances of doing it again are pretty slim.
If anyone is thinking about hitting the Ocean this weekend, be sure to check marine weather, It's going to get nasty out there. I just checked Buoyweather, seas up wind way up, anywhere west of the Islands.
Oh yeah, it can get nasty quick. I was on a 3-day over Memorial and it was rough, 3-5' seas, nasty wind 15+mph, chop from all directions, relentless and rough rough rough.

Catalina doesn't look to bad on the leeward side, after that it's shit. 9 ft @ 10 sec. Winds up to 20 knots.
Just over 100 lbs. Brought it home whole and processed it in a few hours. Loins, belly, carcass meat for poke/spicy tuna and collars. Vacuum sealed and frozen quickly. Got a 5-day trip in mid-August in Channel Islands so hoping we get into Halis and WSB. If water keeps warming up, fingers crossed for some YT action.

Outstanding. Doing it yourself is far better than having processor do them. Now days with the cost it's almost a must, my friend just spent $850 for his tuna. I'm looking to get on a boat for WSB myself, nothing better eating.
