So my buddy shot a buck with his bow today at last light or so on public land and can't find it. He thinks he hit it a little far forward. I'll keep you all posted on what happens. Any advice on how to find the buck. He backed out of the area for the night

Get a hold of MJB. His little devil dogs are pretty darn good at tracking.

Is he going to reuse the tag
Huh? By the way he's not anywhere near where you probably think it is and he is currently looking for the buck I won't have anymore info until he calls me at 11

Luke,

I'm hunting early tomorrow......If I can help give me a call.....It's in the 20's up there. The buck will be good tomorrow.

ps......MJB is the best call, but more eyes and noses the better.

My buddy found his buck this morning. Good forky. I helped him butcher it then ate some great venison and wahoo for dinner

A little backstory on this buck. My buddy bought an AO less than two weeks ago got the general advice on where to go from his uncle and he was off to find a buck to kill even though he hadn't hunted since he killed a doe when he was 12. He hunted every day since he bought his tag and he found a spot he felt had bucks in it even if he only saw does. On Friday we went in to his spot with and I missed a monster he didn't have a close enough shot at. The next day he went out with his uncle and shot this buck with his bow.

Here's another picture of the deer hanging with the tag in view so people don't say it wasn't tagged because you can't see it well .
