CA AB 1213-Ban on Bobcat Hunting

I haven't seen this posed here yet. This bill was just introduced(2/22/13) and is currently in committee. Here is a link to see it's progress though the legislative process. http://legiscan.com/CA/bill/AB1213/2013

Here's the Cliff Notes version:
-Adds bobcat to the DFW list of protected fur-bearing mammals(beaver, fox, otter, ect) and prohibits hunting, trapping.

Needless to say, this is bad news.

It's an Assembly Bill, so I would contact your local assemblyman first.
