So, if a LEO is ID'ed and he is attacked , injured, killed, or his home vandalized should Ca. legislators and Gruesome be held accountable. I 110% believe they should be.

this law will have zero affect on fed law enforcement officers. Only calif state and local cops are in this.

this was for show only.... see how i resist trump. move along nothing to see here

Why do cops need to wear masks? If they're UC, that's one thing, but if they're in full uniform acting in a LEO capacity, and they refuse to identify themselves, that's extremely sketchy. Accountability ensures quality service in all professions, especially those who get to carry a gun and detain people with near complete impunity.

Because, as in the past, they have been identified, then someone found out who they were and where they lived and caused them problems, Harassed them and their families. It's just that simple. Would yo like to have your family bothered because you were your job.

It’s also naive to think this has anything to do with any “cops” other than ICE.

More performative legislation by Sacramento. ICE will ignore it, Calgov will feel like they “did something,” and local LE won’t dare interfere.

See now we're in the territory of regulating "pre crime." Allowing cops to cover their faces because someone might dox them is a slippery slope. If you're a public servant with a public salary paid by taxpayers, and you don't do your job honorably, then that should be known who's responsible. I can't wear a mask at my job so customers can't complain about me. I just have to act in a way that won't give someone a reason to get pissed.

Your arguments hold no water what so ever. You are comparing your desk job to LEO's out here putting their lives on the line. So maybe one in one hundred is not doing his or her job honorably, as you put it, you feel is is just fine to jeopardize all others officers. Maybe there is a spot on the View for you, I think you would fit in just fine.

Thankfully, most Dr's will issue medical notes at the request of their patients, no questions asked...

Political maneuver by Gruesome. The Feds don't give a rats ass. They will be masked up and Kalifornia can't do a damn thing. Onward with the mission!

Ya know. I've been thinking. Any contact I've had with any LEOs in the past, if the badge looked official, if the uniform and patches looked right, if the gear they carried seemed correct, I figured they were legitimate LEOs. Although I've never encountered a masked LEO, yet, I started to think about how an uncovered face helps me identify if this person is a legitimate LEO, given that all the aforementioned items appear to be the real thing. I've never been able to instantly come up with the LEO's personal ID and address just because I could see their face. I mean, if you really have to ID one, the agency name is on the badge, the badge number is on the badge, and the agency is on the uniform patches, as well as sometimes on the back and/or chest of the uniform/vest. If you really had a complaint you wanted to turn into their department, they would know which officer it is by the badge number (which wouldn't really be public knowledge if the agency didn't release it). So, what purpose does having the LEOs expose their face serve when their agency has been confronted with an 800+% increase in assaults and threats of doxing their agents and going after their families? I'm thinking the only reason for this "law" is that, with today's technology with facial recognition, ICE agents can be doxed, after the fact, so that they and their families can be retaliated against.

BTW - The California Highway Patrol was specifically exempted from this law. I don't suppose that has anything to do with the fact that they're the ones who guard gov. Newscum.

A 63 YO man has been arrested in Santa Monica for Doxxing a Customs enforcement attorney, He made his post on Facebook, only fools follow Facebook. He Identified her as a ICE agent and included her home address and encoraged other to swat her at her home. So, if you are naive enough to believe this doesn't happen, here is proof it does. Let's just hope some far left flaming lib. doesn't go after her.

Does this mean antifa masks wearers will be prosecuted? Or is he just targeting his own police force like a dummy? Seems like a backward ass way of retaliation towards feds, backfired. Wuta lame.

Yeah, Antifa and the rest of the criminals can continue to wear masks, only LEOs are targeted (no pun intended) with this. As with just about anything democrats do, they want a result, and they don't care what it takes to get there or who it might hurt or if it's even possible. They remind me of a 3-year-old in Walmart's toy section. They want that certain toy, and they don't care how momma and dada (us) get it for them, or if we can afford it, or who we have to hurt to get it. And if they don't get it, the tantrums begin. BTW - at least he thought ahead just a little on this one because he specifically exempted the CA Highway Patrol (CHP), which, surprise, surprise, happens to be the agency that guards him.

Now three female have been arrested in Los Angeles for doxxing a ICE agent after they followed him home from work. They posted his home address online. Maybe they just wanted their fellow far left Wacos to sent him birthday and holiday gifts.

NewScum, i.e., California cannot regulate the federal government, from a legal perspective. Thus, this was just to make an unenforceable statement. Otherwise it is pointless
