So, is it wrong to be so excited when a hunt is 10 months away, and you find yourself spending hours watching videos of hunting in the location you're planning on going to????? LOL......
Doing a retirement hunt to Colorado for second season this fall with my 14yo. Going 2nd rifle, so I can do elk and deer. My son doesn't have any points for deer yet, so he may grab a bear tag to go with his OTC elk tag. Hunting with a local who, along with his wife, brothers, dad, kids, all get deer or elk pretty much every year.
Not looking for trophies, since its only my second ever elk hunt (last time 15 years in Oregon-unsuccesful), and never been for big mule deer, just local San Diego bucks. Just wanting to get out in some beautiful country, spend time with the kiddo and a friend. Should be fun......
