Coues deer in D16

just sitting here wishing the state would release a few Coues deer here in east san diego. I would imagine they would really flourish in our arid climate. How much fun would that be to draw a white tail tag in San Diego.
 
You can hunt them every year in AZ with a rifle or a bow. You have way more public land out there and what feels like way more freedom. 95% of the bow tags are over the counter and are good in January, part of August, Part of December. If you don’t mind an early rifle hunt you can draw them with no points every year if you put into the draw in June.

They put Whitetail deer on Catalina Island... and they didn't survive. Ed F
